High Expansion Plant - The COMAS High Expansion plant for cut lamina uses CO2 as the expansion medium that is fed in gas form into high pressure chambers, with tobacco at controlled pressure for a set process time. An important factor when choosing your expansion process is the consumption of the expansion medium and we are pleased to be able to boast very low usage rate of CO2. Typically, our high expansion plants are suitable for capacities from 500 to 2,000 kg/h, based on 1-4 impregnation chambers.
